LO2: audience profile
The average view of the Games Corner will be between
the ages of 16 - 30. This is because this is the ages of the average gamer
within South Yorkshire and they’re for Sheffield. It would not be anyone any
younger because they like playing games but are not bothered about the making
or development of a game. Any older then this and they will most likely have
lost interest or have bigger issues and responsibilities and will no longer
have time to keep up to date with all the newest gaming news. It will be nearly
all males who will be watching this, as there are very few women who have a big
enough interest in games that they would go out of there way to find out the
new information on games. 35% of gamer
in the UK are female so the Games Corner will accommodate both genders but will
focus male more as they are the bigger viewer base by a large amount.

Lo 2: Brief from SLTV
I have been asked by Sheffield Live TV to produce a 5 minute TV news broadcast script for the weekly news section for ‘Games Corner’. I will research current games news (new releases/reviews etc) for the week that I have been assigned to help write your script. I will gain client feedback for the script that I produce and be required to make amendments based on the feedback.
By completing this unit I will understand scripts, and the part they play in a range of media products. I will be able to generate a range of ideas, and then use one of these ideas to produce a script for a media product, in response to a client brief. I will use feedback gained from a client to revise their script.
